Tioga Downs offers its visitors a getaway place to enjoy the scenic western New York area, while immersing in an endless gaming experience. The venue opened in the 70’s as just a racetrack but has since evolved into a Class III Casino, offering 28 table games and 6 poker tables. The 890 slot machines are another way to enjoy your time on the gaming floor. The racetrack currently only holds harness races, so fans of thoroughbred racing will have to look elsewhere in the state. For sports fans, the casino also has a sports betting option.
FanDuel is the official sportsbook in the 2,600 square foot sports betting space and has 27 TV’s, with one of them being a large video wall.
Tioga Downs is about a 35 minute drive west of Binghamton. There’s 160 guestrooms and suites at the resort that overlook the rolling hills of the Southern Tier. Families are welcomed here, as the venue holds an indoor heated saltwater pool, along with an arcade, and game room. The outside area has a waterslide which overlooks the racetrack. If you’ve been dying to get back on the course, the Tioga Golf Club is open from 7:30 AM to 6 PM and is just a short drive from the casino.
